The most prominent feature on the i15 is the tungsten weight low in the toe to add forgiveness. These clubs are like sniper rifles, just point and shoot — all they want to do is go high and straight, plus the distances were even better than the i15s. The launch monitor was giving me similar launch angle with the 8 and the 9. Tested this out at my pro-shop. Better players do this when absolutely required. Not sure where you getting yours but I priced them up on the web then had a discuss with my Pro.

Trajectory is low to mid, but the ball just jumps off the face on good swings. I need a little forgiveness, but my miss is definitely left. Just as offset drivers hosel positioned in front of the clubface help slicers minimize their misses, the onset i15 should help players who typically play draws keep the dreaded hooks at bay.

So my friend broke his Ping i15 off right at the top of the hosel. My typical shot shape with the i15 was still a draw, as it is with my usual driver.

The i15 is however a refinement of all that engineering and tweaked toward players who make consistent contact with the center of the clubface. While the lack of specific feedback and feel is mildly disappointing, the forgiveness offered by the i15 does more than make up for it. The internal weighting of the i15 also contributes to a fade bias, according to PING, as well as helping to lower spin and produce optimum launch conditions.

Featured Reshaft Ping irons? I was looking for a lower ball flight with the ability to work the ball some. I like the I but lack ball striking consistency. Spin and launching at pinng degrees and carries a mile not a lot of role. Which is doubtless on me, but I found no love with this club, and am sticking to my beloved Cally.

I find the Pings are a hosfl decent set of clubs, but if anyone can offer suggestions regarding different brands it would be appreciated. It depends entirely on the golfer.
