I wish I'd seen it before I bought my Quickcam Pro. Apple really should get their act together and properly support usb cameras but instead wants to push people to upgrade their Macs. She claims the Live Cam works just as well, but I never saw the iSight. My understanding is on the PC version of this camera that button allows you to take still photos.
